About Us

With the academic, clinical and financial resources of the Northern Ontario Academic Medicine Association, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and South Muskoka Clinical Physicians, the South Muskoka Local Education Group will:

PROMOTE

Promote medical education for all South Muskoka Clinical Physicians, medical students, and residents who elect to learn in South Muskoka;

FOSTER

Foster a culture of life-long learning and exceptional educational opportunities for our current and future physicians;

PROVIDE

Provide excellent clinical teaching in the office, hospital, and community setting;

INNOVATE

Promote innovative medical teaching, events, and accomplishments;

ENCOURAGE

Encourage partnering with existing health promotion agencies and allied health professionals in our community;

INSPIRE

Inspire new, active, and engaged members who remain involved and dedicated to paramount medical learning in South Muskoka.
